For molten liquids, the jacket encloses the entire path of liquid through the pumping chamber, including the check valves, which are cartridge type. The check vaves can be removed for servicing without dismantling the suction & discharge process connections or the steam tracing connections.
We can supply pumps with metal diaphragms for extra life, extreme pressures and temperatures, or for permeable liquids, or where the liquid is too dangerous to be pumped by Teflon diaphragms.
In the case of handling liquids under extreme temperature conditions or in the case of radioactive or explosive liquids, a remote head is provided which can even be isolated by means of a physical barrier from the surrounding environment. This arrangement can supply for both plunger & diaphragm pumps.
